End Inequality National Recommendations Statement

View the Full Document

The End Inequality National Recommendations Statement (EINRS)  is an initiative of Fight Against Inequality Network and a major part of our 2025 End Inequality Campaigns.

We are all in this together, and need to start conversations in our local communities about ‘inequality’: the ‘unequal distribution within society of income, wealth and goods’.
FAINs recommendations can be used as a starting point for conversations.

Some other ways to engage are to:
> Phone, write or meet with your local federal representative and ask them to make a public statement about the need for policies that address inequality.

> Ask your local representative to draw attention to and discuss FAIN’s End Inequality National Recommendations Statement (EINRS)  in the local community and in Parliament

Call on them to commit to:
Prioritise policy reforms to end inequality,
Employ a Minister with a portfolio to for ending inequality,
Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate a comprehensive National End Inequality Strategy as a matter of urgency in the 48th Federal Government, and
Reduce inequality by 30% in Australia by 2040 towards ending it.
