The End Inequality National Recommendations Statement (EINRS) is an initiative of Fight Against Inequality Network and a major part of our 2025 End Inequality Campaigns.
FAIN says it is the time to fight
for equity and national policy reforms to expose and end inequality.
We are all in this together, and need to start conversations in our local communities about ‘inequality’: the ‘unequal distribution within society of income, wealth and goods’.
FAINs recommendations can be used as a starting point for conversations.
Some other ways to engage are to:
> Phone, write or meet with your local federal representative and ask them to make a public statement about the need for policies that address inequality.
> Ask your local representative to draw attention to and discuss FAIN’s End Inequality National Recommendations Statement (EINRS) in the local community and in Parliament
Call on them to commit to:
> Prioritise policy reforms to end inequality,
> Employ a Minister with a portfolio to for ending inequality,
> Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate a comprehensive National End Inequality Strategy as a matter of urgency in the 48th Federal Government, and
> Reduce inequality by 30% in Australia by 2040 towards ending it.
