Rebecca Huntley’s excellent article explores the deepening disillusionment amongst Australians with the idea of the “fair go”, once a key part of the country’s social fabric.

This shift alongside generational and gender divides is changing voter behaviour and political engagement; traditional political strategies may no longer resonate as voters become more unpredictable and emotionally driven. This evolving mindset could significantly shape the narrative and strategies in the upcoming federal election.
