ACOSS’s Dr Peter Davidson gives a presentation to discuss the methods for defining and measuring poverty in Australia. He focuses on the need for consensus on how to measure poverty with multidimensional measures, as well as the need for official poverty measures to be informed by experts and those with lived experiences, and to be backed by the government.
